2010 Christmas Parades
What Child Is This? He is Christ the King Salvation Brings!
Alamance Christian School entered a float this year in both the Mebane and Graham Christmas Parades. The front of the float read "What Child is This?", and the sides answered that question with "Christ the King - Salvation Brings," and indeed this is the true meaning of Christmas. The scenes on the float depicted the birth of Christ, the angelic announcement to the shepherds and the worship and gifts of the Magi. On the back of the float was a cross, a sobering remind that Christ was born to die. We heard many comments from those watching of "now that's what Christmas is all about." Thank you to the parents who helped put the float together and the students who participated.
The ACS float was named by the Graham City Council the "Best Parade Entry".
