2012 Graduation Ceremony

On Friday June 1, 2012, Alamance Christian School graduated 29 seniors from the class of 2012. Our 39th commencement celebration was held at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church. The invocation was given by Pastor Bob La Tour of Beacon Baptist Church and the following students addressed those in attendance- Valedictorian, Ross Myers; Salutatorian and Mr. ACS, Mark Kephart; and Miss ACS, Shelby Henning. Short biographical sketches of each graduate were read by Daniel Freeman and Ken Delorge, as School Board Chairman Paul Burns handed the graduating seniors their diplomas.

Ross Myers was awarded a Graham Rotary Club scholarship, Amber O'Dell and Jennafer Fowler were awarded the Doug Roberts Memorial Christian Service Scholarship, and Shelby Henning was awarded the Taitym Benesch Memorial Scholarship. Amber O'Dell and Philip Barker were named as recipient's of the Principal's Award for school spirit and citizenship.

Pastor Dave Mros of Hico Baptist Church gave the benediction, and the class of 2012 then proceeded to campus to celebrate with friends and family in the Eddie Blalock Gymatorium.
