AP Courses

Alamance Christian School high school students are afforded the opportunity to take college-level courses while in high school through the Advanced Placement Program.  AP classes allow students to study subjects in great detail and depth and receive college credit for the course work.  Study skills in college are more demanding and taking AP courses allows students to participate rigorous college-level work on a limited basis while still in high school.

Student maturity and motivation to push themselves intellectually and to commit themselves to academic excelence not only allow the satisfaction of completing college coursework prior to entry into collece, but it will also enable the student to achieve greater respect during the college admissions process.

The AP courses currently offered at ACS are listed in the sidebar. Click on the class to view its syllabus. There are some general prerequisites for these classes that may not be stated in the syllabi. Please also read the document AP Prerequisites.
