Dual Enrollment At Alamance Community College
Dual Enrollment Program is a program for high school students who wish to take college level courses while still in high school.
What Kind of Courses Can I Take?
- Courses that will transfer to a four year college or university such as: psychology, history, science, fine arts, literature, and more
- Entry-level courses in any of our technical associate in applied science programs such as: computers, culinary, carpentry, automotive, early childhood, cosmetology, nursing assistant, medical terminology
- All coursework will be recorded on your ACC transcript.
How Do I Qualify to Take These Courses?
- You must be at least 16 years of age.
- You must be a full-time high school student.
How much Does It Cost?
- Tuition is free.
- Students are responsible for purchasing the required texts for the courses.
How Do I Apply?
- See your high school Principal for an ACC application and the "dual enrollment form."
- Complete both forms (with required signatures) and bring them to ACC Admissions office. You can talk to an admissions counselor at that time.
