Matching Gifts
The Corporate World generously gifts non-profit institutions through their employee incentive programs. These include volunteer incentives for involvement in community affairs and matching gifts for employees to double or triple the value of the gift they make to their favorite non-profit. Each corporation has its own guidelines for determining if they will, indeed, cooperate with the employee in benefacting the non-profit of the employee's choice. The following corporations have programs for gifting to 501(c)(3) organizations such as Alamance Christian School.
Verizon - Volunteer Incentive Program - up to $750 each year for a minimum of 50 hours
Wachovia - Matching Gifts Program for employees.
Lab Corp - Matching Gifts Program for employees
Home Depot - Matching Gifts Program for employees
