Preschool Playground Development

Parents and students raised funds through various fundraisers to develop and equip a new playground suitable for the 2, 3, 4, and 5 year olds at Alamance Christian School. First, a lot of money needed to be raised. This was accomplish through the PTF's Auction 2010 and the Walk-A-Thon. These two fund raisers are providing funding for the playground as well as new equipment for the Computer Lab.

Second, we must get on to the job of developing a playground. That involves a lot of dirt moving - digging, spreading, reshaping. Large equipment has been brought in to do the job, and it is underway. More information and pictures will follow as your monies shape the new playground for our kiddies.

We very much appreciate the donations made by individuals and businesses to help us in moving all this dirt:  Mr. Paul Davis for leveling the dirt;    Ray Cobb Trucking for the use of two trucks; Ivey Septic for the use of one truck; P.J. Coble for the use of one truck; H & B Landscaping Company for the use of a bull dozer; and Tanger Outlets for the donation of 80 loads of fill dirt.
