Walk-a-Thon Event Day Fabulous-2010
The Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser and Health Initiative event day was a great success. Below is a gallery of pictures taken that day showing expressions of delight and joy at having a day of exercise, fun, and food
Every student participated in the "walk" around the fields. Each grade level walked a set number of laps appropriate for their age. After walking, they were able to enjoy some ice cream and the pleasure of playing on the three inflatables we had for them. A big hit was the "gladiator" which drew the students large and small into the arena. Hamburgers were grilled and lunch was served out-of-doors.
Parents, staff, grandparents were on hand to walk with the students as was the Chick-Fil-A Cow!
Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to equip a preschool playground and to upgrade the computer lab.
