Advanced Placement Courses

Advanced Placement (AP) courses at ACS provide motivated students the opportunity to take college-level classes while still in high school. Our AP courses are offered within a Christ-centered environment, where academic excellence and Biblical worldview converge to equip students for future success.

AP courses are nationally recognized for their rigor and depth, and successful completion demonstrates to colleges that a student is ready for higher-level academic work. In addition, students who perform well on AP exams may earn college credit or advanced standing at many universities, saving both time and tuition costs.

Beyond grades, AP classes also carry additional quality points, which means they can positively impact a student’s GPA and class ranking. More importantly, these courses train students to think critically, manage challenging workloads, and prepare for the expectations they will face in college.
