Parents

At Alamance Christian School, we believe that parents are an essential part of the learning community. Education is most powerful when home and school work hand-in-hand, and we welcome your participation in building a strong, Christ-centered environment.
Your involvement enriches the entire ACS community because it:
Encourages students by demonstrating that education is a family priority;
Provides teachers with practical support;
Builds stronger connections between families, faculty, and staff; and
Helps us accomplish more together than we could alone.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are countless ways for parents to get involved at ACS. From helping in the classroom to chaperoning field trips, serving at events, or supporting our teachers behind the scenes, your time and talents make a lasting impact. Volunteering not only strengthens our school but also models service and commitment for our students.
Common opportunities include:
Classroom support (reading, projects, bulletin boards)
Chaperoning field trips and special outings
Assisting with concerts, athletic events, and fine arts programs
Helping with teacher appreciation activities
Contributing to lunchroom, library, or campus projects
The PARTner Program
The Parental Assistance Response Team (PARTner Program) is designed for those who want to help when needs arise. Think of it as our “all-call” list for special projects or events (e.g., teacher appreciation). When these arise from time to time, we reach out to our PARTners. This flexible program allows parents to step in to use their talents as their schedules allow, providing critical support that makes big things possible.
If you’d like to volunteer or join the PARTner Program, please contact our front office team. Whether you serve once a semester or every week, your presence and participation are valued and appreciated. Together, we can continue to make ACS a place where students thrive academically, spiritually, and socially.
