Student Life
SPIRITUAL LIFE
At ACS, we have an incredible opportunity to reach and educate our students. ACS is more than simply a school; it is a ministry where students are given the opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ up close and personal.
Through chapel programs, Bible studies, mentoring groups, community service opportunities, and many more activities, we are able to expose our students to the goodness and the relevancy of God. We are training the next generation of leaders to carry these truths into the world.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
At ACS, our desire for our students is to follow Christ's example of servant leadership. Christ called us to serve Him through serving others, and at ACS we give our students many opportunities to serve others, not only in our own community, but around the world.
CHAPEL
Our chapel program shares the gospel in culturally relevant terms. Students engage in a corporate worship experience in which they have the opportunity to meet Christ where they are, helping them to walk daily in a committed relationship with Jesus Christ. Chapel speakers range from school faculty to local area church pastors.
SMALL GROUPS
Students have the opportunity to be a part of a small group of their peers under the guidance of their teachers to experience Christ in a smaller group setting. Students are able to experience community and to have their faith challenged and grown in a more intimate group.
RETREAT
Each fall our Secondary students are given the opportunity to go on a retreat. Students spend time with their peers in an environment that allows them to have fun, meet new friends, explore new surroundings, set goals for the coming school year, and worship Christ together. The high school spends a week at Teen Valley Ranch and the middle school goes to Camp Deer Lake in Haw River, NC.
