Student Outcomes
At Alamance Christian School, our vision is to prepare students to impact the world for Christ. We pursue this calling by shaping young people in three key areas: Spiritual Formation, Academic Excellence, and Cultural Engagement.
Spiritual Formation
Our prayer is that every ACS student grows in their relationship with God and learns to live faithfully in a complex world. By the time they graduate, ACS students:
Know and experience God’s love, understanding His plan and purpose for their lives.
Love, serve, and share Christ with others.
Develop discernment and character to make wise choices in body, mind, and spirit.
Engage in Christian community both within ACS and in their local church.
Pursue a life marked by faith, self-control, perseverance, godliness, kindness, and love (2 Peter 1:5–7).
Academic Excellence
We believe excellence in learning honors God and equips students for their future. ACS students:
Are well-prepared across all academic disciplines.
Communicate effectively through reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Think critically, research thoroughly, and solve problems wisely.
Achieve the competencies necessary to pursue the college or career path to which God calls them.
Cultural Engagement
We want our students to live out their faith in service to others and to stand firm in truth. ACS students:
Lead with humility, compassion, and a servant’s heart.
Work cooperatively and respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Engage cultural issues with confidence, viewing every idea through the lens of a biblical worldview.
Pursue their God-given passions and strive for excellence to influence the world for Christ.
Our Commitment
These outcomes reflect our mission and vision at ACS. We know the goals are high, but with God’s help and by His grace, we commit ourselves as administrators, faculty, and staff to equip students in these areas. Ultimately, only through God’s protection and provision can we accomplish this work.
