On Friday, January 30, 2026, a reporter from the Alamance News visited campus to watch our varsity basketball teams play our arch-rivals - the Vandalia Vikings.
That visit resulted in an article on the Lady Warriors and the strong season despite major injuries on the team. The Lady Warriors dominated the Vikings with a nearly 30 point victory due to balanced scoring - two players hit the 20 point mark. Earlier this season, members of our 4 state basketball championship teams (and their coaches) returned to be honored at halftime. These four teams won those in back-to-back fashion, and we're hoping to add one more to the gym banners this season!
