At Alamance Christian School, we recognize that we are part of a much larger body of believers. While our classrooms are filled with students from over 70 local congregations, our mission to transform the world for Christ is shared by many.

To honor that vital connection, today, we hosted our annual Church Appreciation Breakfast, welcoming more than 40 pastors and ministry teams representing 22 of our partner churches. It was a morning dedicated to more than just a meal because we used it as a time of intentional gratitude, testimony, and unified prayer.

From the moment our guests arrived, the ACS Student Council was on hand and dedicated to serve. These student leaders handled everything from the initial welcome to serving breakfast. Their presence served as a living reminder of the "Warrior Legacy" being built every day on our campus.

During the program, Head of School Mike Loflin shared the many ways we have seen the hand of the Lord at work this year—from scholarship records, athletic victories, growing donations, and spiritual growth within the student body. Those in attendance heard a powerful student testimony, as one of our own shared how God brought him to faith and how Christian education has shaped his walk with Christ.

As a school, we did not want to talk about blessings, however; we wanted to be a blessing. After a lighthearted time of giving out door prizes, we transitioned into the most important part of our gathering: Prayer.

We closed our time collecting prayer cards from every church in attendance. These cards are not just for show—they will be carried the weekly leadership meetings, where our leaders will specifically pray for the requests.
