The Pursuit of Excellence Through Christ

At Alamance Christian School, academic excellence is grounded in a Christ-centered worldview. We believe every child has been uniquely created by God with intellectual gifts and potential, and we’re committed to helping them thrive spiritually, intellectually, and personally.

Our academic program is divided into three distinct stages—PreK, Elementary (K-5), and Secondary (6-12)—so we can tailor instruction, relationships, and spiritual formation to each developmental phase.

  • PreK: Lays the foundation as an academically-driven program that focuses on early literacy and spiritual formation in a nurturing, faith-filled environment.

  • Elementary: Focuses on building strong fundamentals in reading, math, writing, and critical thinking, combined with Biblical worldview instruction and character development.

  • Secondary: Offers a college-prep curriculum with core courses and electives, one-on-one mentoring, and opportunities for spiritual growth—designed to shepherd students toward a faith-filled, purpose-driven future.

As a school, ACS promises to deliver the following to students and families in our academic programs:

  • Christ-centered learning — Students are guided by caring, qualified faculty who are committed to both academic growth and spiritual development by leveraging a Biblical worldview in every content area. Chapel programs occur weekly across all grade levels to further promote a child's spiritual development.

  • Individual encouragement — Every student is recognized as a unique individual with God-given potential, and is supported in discovering and growing their personal strengths. For students needing additional support to succeed, we help them rise through the challenge.

  • Balanced development — We help students grow in knowledge, character, wisdom, and skill; so they’re equipped not just for college or a career, but for a lifetime of faithful living. Content application into real-world situations is a critical component.

  • Preparation for life beyond ACS — From foundational learning in PreK to college prep in Secondary school, students are prepared academically, spiritually, and socially to transform their world for Christ.
