Academic Advising

The Academic Advising Office at ACS is committed to preparing students in grades 6–12 for both academic success and lifelong impact. In Middle School (Grades 6–8), we help students lay the groundwork for high school achievement. Once they enter High School, we consistently encourage and guide them to stay focused, finish well, and pursue their God-given calling. Our goal is for every ACS graduate to be fully equipped—academically prepared for the college or career of their choice, and spiritually grounded to walk in God’s will.

Personalized Support for Families

The Academic Advising Office provides students and families with personalized support throughout the college and career planning process, including:

Testing: Preparing for and registering for the SAT or ACT.
Experience: Planning college visits and attending college fairs.
Discovery: Taking career and interest inventories.
Financial Stewardship: Exploring financial aid, scholarships, and FAFSA.
Confidence: Navigating the application process from start to finish.

Our purpose is to shepherd students through these critical years, helping them grow in faith while building the skills and confidence to finish their high school career strong. For the 12 years this office has existed, the results are unmistakable. Review a few highlights of success in partnership with students and families:
