Student Outcomes: The ACS Graduate

At Alamance Christian School, our vision is to prepare students to lead a World Transformed for Christ.
We believe every student is a “Warrior in the making” and design a program that grows them academically, artistically, and athletically. Our focus is on creating excellence that matches this description of Daniel — he “distinguished himself above the governors…because an excellent spirit was in him” (Daniel 6:3).
We measure our success by the growth of our graduates in three key areas: Spiritual Formation, Academic Excellence, and Cultural Engagement.
Spiritual Formation: The Christ-Centered Life
Our prayer is that every ACS student grows in a personal relationship with God, learning to walk with discernment in a complex world.
- Biblical Foundation: Knowing and experiencing God’s love while understanding His specific plan and purpose for their lives.
- Great Commission Focus: Learning to love, serve, and share the Gospel of Christ with others.
- Character & Discernment: Developing the spiritual maturity to make wise choices in body, mind, and spirit.
- Kingdom Community: Engaging deeply in the Christian community both within the halls of ACS and in the local church.
- Vibrant Faith: Pursuing a life marked by faith, self-control, perseverance, godliness, kindness, and love (2 Peter 1:5–7).
Academic Excellence: The Innovative Scholar
We believe that excellence in the classroom honors the Creator and equips students for a life of stewardship.
- Disciplinary Mastery: Demonstrating high proficiency across all academic disciplines, from the humanities to the sciences.
- Effective Communication: Mastering the ability to read, write, speak, and listen with clarity and grace.
- Critical Thinking: Utilizing a Biblical worldview to research thoroughly, think critically, and solve complex problems.
- Future Readiness: Achieving the academic competencies and college-preparatory rigor necessary to thrive in the university or career path to which God calls them.
Cultural Engagement: The Servant Leader
We equip our students to live out their faith in service to others while standing firm in the Truth.
- Servant Leadership: Leading others with humility, compassion, and the "mindset of Christ" modeled by our faculty.
- Gracious Collaboration: Working respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures to achieve common goals.
- Confident Worldview: Engaging modern cultural issues with confidence, viewing every idea through the lens of Scripture.
- Creative Influence: Pursuing God-given passions in the arts, athletics, and the marketplace to influence the world for Christ.
Our Commitment
These outcomes represent the "ACS Standard." We recognize that these goals are high, but through God’s grace, we commit ourselves as administrators, faculty, and staff to the daily work of equipping your children. This mission is a sacred partnership between the school, the home, and the Holy Spirit. We remain daily dependent on God’s protection and provision as we lead the next generation of Christian Warriors.
