Partnering for the Heart
Equipping YOU to Lead a World Transformed at Home
At Alamance Christian School, we believe that education is a 24/7 endeavor. While we are honored to mentor your children during the school day, we recognize that God has placed the primary responsibility for discipleship in the hands of parents.
The “Warrior Legacy” does not end at the car rider lane. This Hub is designed to be your "college of resources"—a curated collection of tools to help you navigate tough topics and cultural shifts with grace, truth, and a firm Biblical Worldview.
Hear from an ACS graduate who shares that partnership has been the legacy of the school for decades:
The Biblical Call to Parenting
Scripture is clear: parents are the primary theologians in a child’s life.
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.” — Deuteronomy 6:6-7
Our goal is to provide you with the "talking points" and biblical frameworks needed to turn evening meals and weekend drives into moments of eternal impact.
Our Commitment to You
You are not alone in this journey as ACS is your partner in the "Daily Walk" and the “Long View.” In our May 2026 annual Parent Experience Survey, see what parents across all ages have shared with us.
Together, we are raising a generation of Warriors who are not just academically strong, but spiritually unshakable. To that end, we are providing several resources below. Please note that we have not vetted every resource put forth by these organizations. We simply want to share the information with you and encourage discernment is using each with your children.

Axis.org focuses on helping parents through the provision of Biblical resources that focus on parenting. They offer downloadable PDFs on a variety of topics that provide an overview, a Biblical perspective, and ways to open the conversation. The end result is to see a connection between parents, teens, and Jesus in a disconnected world. They believe this happens one conversation at a time.

Focus on the Family helps families thrive by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, affirming the God-ordained institution of the family, and promoting biblical truths worldwide. They offer a wide array of materials broken out for families based on 5 different age ranges - baby/toddler, preschool/elementary, preteen/tween, teenager, and young adult.
A favorite of ours is “50 Questions to Ask Your Kids at the Dinner Table.”

The Center for Parent/Youth Understanding seeks to increase the ability of homes and churches to nurture children of all ages into a lifetime of Biblically-faithful, whole-life Christian discipleship. With today's rapidly-changing youth culture, they create relevent and timely information that includes theologically-sound resources in the areas of research, devotionals, handouts, and a podcast.

Family Life recognizes that families are searching for hope and lasting connection in the present moment. They believe that the family is the greatest, untapped resource for bringing good into the world. To do that, however, families must grow together and serve in their corner of the world. Their information is primarily in podcast format.
