To ensure Alamance Christian School remains a local and trusted institution, our leadership is structured into two distinct but complementary roles. This clarity allows us to remain faithful to our 1969 mission while strategically pursuing our future vision.
Management: Daily Operation
The Administration of ACS is responsible for the "Daily Operation." Led by our Head of School and his divisional leaders, this team brings the mission to life in the hallways, classrooms, and on the athletic fields.
- Primary Focus: Overseeing day-to-day operations, academic excellence, student discipleship, and staff leadership.
- Key Responsibility: Implementing the policies set by the Board.
- The Goal: Creating and sustaining an environment steeped in Biblical Worldview where students can reach their God-given potential.
Governance: Long-term Focus
The Board is responsible for the "Long View" by primarily working on policy and outcomes. They serve as the guardians of the school’s mission, vision, and spiritual integrity by budgetary stewardship and strategic planning.
- Primary Focus: Charting strategic direction, financial oversight, and policymaking.
- Key Responsibility: Ensuring that decisions align with our Mission, Vision, and Statement of Faith to promote the long-term sustainability of the school.
- The Goal: Protecting the ACS Standard for future generations of Warriors.
