Our Legacy: A History of Faithfulness

The story of Alamance Christian School is not one of mere bricks and mortar, but of a vision sparked in 1969. What began as a courageous step by concerned parents and pastors has grown into a local and trusted institution that has shaped generations of leaders. From our first 110 students to our multi-campus presence today, our instruction from a Biblical worldview has remained the same: excellence in all things for the glory of Jesus Christ.
Our Milestones
- 1969: The Beginning – ACS opens its doors at Greenway Park Baptist Church with 110 students in grades 1–8.
- 1971: A Permanent Home – The school moves to our current 19-acre campus on Townbranch Road, establishing a foundation for decades of growth.
- 1974: The First Victory – We celebrate our first graduating senior class, launching the first of many “World Transformers.”
- 1976–1977: Building for the Future – The campus expands with the addition of the chapel, home economics facilities, and a dedicated day care building.
- 2022: Expanding the Reach – To meet unprecedented enrollment demand, ACS partners with Integrity Church to open our Burlington campus, extending our mission to more families in Alamance County.

- 46 Athletic State Championships: Highlighting a culture of discipline, toughness, and unselfishness that defines Warrior Athletics.
